ABOUT EFFIE KATS

Designer Effie Kats launched her namesake label in April 2018. It’s focus is on made to measure garments with a view to create perfectly tailored, sustainable pieces that last in your wardrobe for years to come.

MADE TO MEASURE PIECES

Our garments are custom made to order. Our suits and dresses are designed in Australia and developed in our workroom. We follow  a sustainable model that eliminates waste and offers clients the highest quality garment that fits their unique shape.

OUR PROCESS

Clients book in for a consultation where design is discussed, fabric is selected and measurements are taken with Effie.

After your consultation the garment then proceeds onto the production line where our pattern maker and tailors prepare it for first fitting.

Lead times can vary depending on the category of garment and it’s complexity.

Suit production time requires a minimum of 4 weeks.

Dresses, jumpsuits and gowns require a minimum of 6-8 weeks depending on complexity of the garment.

Garments require a minimum of 2 fittings, a third may be required depending on the garment. After first fitting, depending on the clients availability for fittings the garment can be ready for collection within 24-48 hours.

PAYMENT

We require an upfront payment of 60% and the remaining balance is paid after the garment is completed and ready for collection. Deposits are non-refundable, however they are transferrable if your garment hasn’t been commenced.
