Where do you ship?
We ship worldwide. Delivery times and costs are calculated at checkout based on your location.
When will my order arrive?
Each piece is crafted and dispatched with care. Ready-to-ship garments are sent within 1–5 business days, depending on busy and sale periods. Made-to-order items may take up to 3 weeks to complete. You’ll receive tracking details once your order is on its way.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Once your order has been confirmed, changes may not be possible. Please contact our customer care team as soon as possible — we’ll do our best to assist.
Route Shipping Protection
What is Route Shipping Protection?
Route provides optional shipping protection for your order. It offers peace of mind by covering loss, theft, or damage that may occur during transit.
How does it work?
When you add Route Shipping Protection at checkout, your order becomes insured from the moment it leaves our showroom until it arrives at your door. In the rare event that your package is lost, stolen, or arrives damaged, Route will assist you directly with a replacement or refund.
How do I file a claim?
You can file a claim through the Route portal using your order number and email address. Once submitted, Route’s support team will review your claim and provide next steps.
Do I need to purchase Route?
Route Shipping Protection is optional but recommended. Opting in ensures your order is fully covered in the rare event of shipping issues that are beyond our control.
What if I don't add Route to my order?
If Route Shipping Protection isn't purchased, Effie Kats is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages once they have been dispatched. We will, however, do our best to assist you in contacting the shipping carrier.
Does Route cover international orders?
Yes, Route covers both domestic and international shipments.

How do I find my size?
Each silhouette is designed for a refined, sculpted fit. We recommend referring to our size guide, available on each product page. For personalised advice, our team can guide you through measurements and fit.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We accept returns on full-priced items for a store credit or exchange within 7 days of delivery, provided the garment is unworn, unaltered, and in original condition. Please read our return policy for details. Made-to-order and sale pieces are final.
How do I initiate a return?
To begin a return, please contact our customer care team with your order number. We’ll guide you through the process.
Product Care
How should I care for my garments?
Each Effie Kats piece is crafted with considered materials and construction. We recommend dry cleaning or gentle hand washing in accordance with the care label. Store garments on padded hangers to maintain their structure and drape.
Atelier & Brand
Do you offer bridesmaids and bridal appointments?
Yes. Bridesmaids and bridal fittings and consultations are available by appointment at our showroom. Please make a booking online to arrange a time.
Where can I view the collection in person?
Our full collection is available online, and at our Melbourne showroom. Selected pieces may also be available through partner boutiques — contact us for details.
